story

Pancakes. It’s simple and it’s honest food. They trigger memories of growing up; of good times shared around the stove, or, as in many countries, times spent at the local pancake house. When I moved to London as a mother with half an inclination to create sensible and healthy eating whilst starting food clubs at local schools, I became a little obsessed with pancakes. People talked about them all the time – not just amongst families – but everyone! It was a huge revelation – pancakes are universally loved…..yet, wherever we looked, we couldn’t find a place to experience the kind of dishes that fuse the ancient art of baking pancakes with modern food trends .

That’s Where The Pancakes Are…. a not so traditional pancake house serving good honest sweet & savoury food and beautiful craft ciders, as well as dishes to share of blinis and prosecco. Pancakes are an ideal meal as well as a decadent snack. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, after school, after work, after the gym, after a gig. We serve nutritious stacks of buttermilk pancakes – savoury or sweet, each dish a feast of colour and flavour, made with heaps of tender loving care. Our batter is made with the freshest ingredients (organic flour blend with buckwheat flour, eggs, buttermilk) that deliver good carbs, vitamins, protein, probiotics, Omega 3 and more…

reservations

Most of the tables in our restaurant are kept unreserved for walk-ins so we can accommodate anyone who visits us. If your party is greater than five people or you are planning an event, we do encourage you to get in touch with us via email.
On Saturdays or Sundays you sometimes may encounter a short wait, but we always do our best to find you a table as soon as possible. At our busiest of times, we may ask to return your table after an hour and a half.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
