Celebrating London Design Festival
creativity & Fitzrovia
On Wednesday morning our Fitzrovia branch will be participating in the celebration of creativity with London Design Festival 2024. If you didn’t already know, the festival will be championing local art and artists, with a roster of events taking place. From screen printing workshops to a myriad of exhibitions, we encourage you to get involved and check out their program here.
Design is at the heart of everything we do, from the careful construction of our pancake dishes, to our sustainable interiors courtesy of award-winning Dutch architects Overtreders W. This, coupled with our love for Fitzrovia, meant it was a no-brainer for the teams to get involved in the celebrations.
Our affinity with the Fitzrovia neighborhood goes far beyond its illustrious streets and proximity to the shopping district. The quirky sister of Soho is filled with tales and stories. Once a historic hub in the 1930s, Fitzrovia was the meeting point for hoards of literary and artistic genius’, gathering in local pubs to share their newest work over beer and liquor. Fast forward to today, it exists as a magnet for high end chef led restaurants, creative businesses, foodies and nightlife. At its core, Fitzrovia is a truly colourful community; a place where the abundance of Notting Hill meets the exuberance of Mayfair.
So to get involved, we will be handing out 50 complimentary mini ‘Mira’s chai carrot pancakes’ and mini ‘70% gingerbread hot chocolate’s’ from 8:30-10:30am on Wednesday 18th September. We urge you to take a trip down to Fitzrovia and check out other local vendors participating here.
