Stall your day and enjoy life’s simple things with family and friends. That’s our mantra and it comes in the shape of a pancake.

I was in L.A recently, eating my way through the city, mountains of pancakes and a whole lot of other great dishes. My favourite brunch/lunch spots were Sqirl (Jessica Koslov) and Destroyer (xxxx), both reigniting my foodie curiosity and leaving me with so much inspiration to build on. Driving North-East-South-West, I loved the abundance of pumpkins everywhere in anticipation of Thanksgiving: the single one day on the American calendar when all that matters is the company of family and friends around a table packed with Autumnal flavours and the almighty turkey.
