Very good choice for a breakfast! Many vegetarian options and catered to meat lovers as well! Staff is very friendly, fast with service, and accommodating to allergies. Would recommend if you want a light breakfast, or to fill up for the day!

If you’re on the hunt for a great breakfast or brunch spot that won’t break the bank, I can’t recommend this place enough!Now, I’ve never been big on pancakes—I don’t have much of a sweet tooth—but wow, this place completely changed my mind. I ordered the English breakfast, and honestly, it might just be the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Ever.We also couldn’t resist trying the apple crumble pancake, and it was absolutely incredible! My only small critique is that I wish there was a bit more filling in the apple crumble—it would have made it even better.The only other downside is that the service was a bit slow. It took about an hour for us to get our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. We didn’t mind since we had no plans and were taking it easy, but it’s something to keep in mind if you’re in a rush.That said, the restaurant itself is gorgeous—bright, airy, and welcoming. It’s such a beautiful space that I’ve already brought several people back with me!

Delicious pancakes

Ordered two sets of "The Afternoon fix": Miso pear caramel and black forest which cost 13.5 pounds each for pancakes with drinks which was sufficient for three personnel as a dessert.Pancakes were nice and the service was great. Do note that a 12.5% service charge is automatically included in the bill and has to be specifically requested to be removed (if you want).

Had to queue up for twenty minutes to get a seat here on a busy Saturday, but it was absolutely worth it! My second time here: the food is spectacular, it’s just incredibly delicious and very well-made. The self-service with payment by scanning a QR code on the table is genius and saves a lot of time and nerves both for visitors and staff. We had a wonderful time and all of our company really enjoyed! Will definitely come again.

Nous avons adorer déjeuner à Where the pancakes are.Nous sommes étonnés que le restaurant n’ait pas 5/5 car il est vraiment excellent !Nous adorons les brunch et celui-ci est l’un de nos préférés !Pour ma part, j’ai pris un American Breakfast avec un œuf et du saumon fumé en supplément. Les portions sont très généreuses et c’était excellent.Je suis contente d’avoir pris des suppléments car cela allait très bien ensemble. Au niveau des boissons j’ai pris un jus d’orange maison ainsi qu’un shake : le The good vegan (une vraie pépite, mon coup de cœur en terme de boissons).Mon copain lui a pris un English Breakfast, c’était vraiment très très généreux. Si vous voulez goûter un petit déjeuner anglais, vous allez adorer ! Il a pris également des halloumis en supplément. La portion est généreuse ! Pour les boissons il a pris un café et un shake également : le Moodbooster. J’ai goûté et c’était très bon !Tout était vraiment excellent. Allez-y les yeux fermés !

Nice little brunch spot under the rails close to Borough Market. The pancakes were great and there were a lot of really delicious options to pick from. It was really tough to choose, but ended up with the Hummingbird pancakes (lemon and pineapple) and the American pancakes.Very very tasty. The green juice drink was so good, I would have had another if we weren’t going to Borough Market for more food and drink.Highly recommend!

Diana was simply amazing with us and so accommodating with my very fussy friend :) pancakes are incredible and the service is just wonderful. The goats cheese Dutch pancake was delicious.

More than just pancakes! But they are dang tasty right here where the pancakes are. My server, Daisy, warmly greeted me and let me pick my table. She made sure the water carafe stayed full during the breakfast. She was so nice and had a wonderful warm smile. I ordered the Royal. It was very good. Requested the smoky bacon to be crisp and crisp it was! The eggs were piavged perfectly, and the hollandaise sauce was very smooth. Pancakes were light and fluffy. The highlight was the fresh squeezed orange juice. So fresh with the right amount of pulp! It was so good, I ordered a second one. If near, you must stop in.

Much bigger restaurant than the bankside location and great that it is dog friendly. We went on a Thursday evening to a not that busy restaurant. Service was friendly and kind. I had the salmon eggs royal pancakes and they've seemed to shrunk in size. Still tasty nonetheless.

J'aurai aimé prendre aussi un pancakes sucrée mais plus de place, il faudra donc revenir pour notre prochaine visite à Londres. Aussi la serveuse Samira était adorable, très patiente, gentille et souriante. Elle nous a aider à choisir et répondu agréablement à nos questions. En restauration où tout doit aller vite, c'est quand même à préciser et une qualité ^^

Maybe the sleep deprivation talking, but I think these might be the best pancakes I’ve ever had.My Royal with bacon was well worth what I paid, served with hollandaise, asparagus, a literal sprig of tarragon, and a smile.Experience has taught me to be sceptical of ‘the combo-allergy alternative’ on a menu — dairy-free, wheat-free, egg-free, vegetarian — so I ordered with trepidation. How wrong I was. The 3-in-1 option was utterly gorgeous, nicer even than the already–delicious regular pancakes.Strongly recommended for lovers of pancakes and breakfast aficionados.

First of all the restaurant is very modern and cozy, also spacious. And it was the perfect choice for a late Sunday breakfast. The pancakes are super delicious and fluffy. Everything else was also really good. Coffee & chai was super tasty. Great breakfast / brunch spot.

Good atmosphere, better food would recommend if you are nearby

I wasn't sure if the food would be worth the hour long wait but it convinced me and then some. I had the pulled pork pancakes and matcha latte which were both delicious.

Really tasty!If you don’t have a reservation you might wait around half an hour and 10mins extra to tell the order. It takes an hour in total you get something to eat. They serve coffee before the waffles at least but worths to wait at all.

We visited for breakfast on a Sunday.We ordered the pancakea with brisket, which were two large thick pancakes with brisket beef and sauerkraut in between mixed with a cream sauce and topped with melted cheese. It was really delicious, but we thought that the amount of the meat was a bit little than expected.We also ordered the seasonal carrot cake pancakes, which came as two very small pancakes in a cast iron skillet topped with lemon sugar glaze. It was good, but if you don't like raisins, you may not like it as it was full of raisins.The service was good.

Il cibo era davvero squisito! Eravamo un po' impauriti del fatto che avevamo un volo da prendere ma tutto è stato così veloce. Il cameriere Eddy ci ha rassicurati che tutto sarebbe andato liscio e perché non fidarsi? Ci ha aiutati molto nella scelta del cibo e abbinamenti, davvero molta attenzione. Spettacolare. Mai sentiti così benvenuti prima d'ora in un posto qui a Londra. Bevande abbastanza buone. Volevo aggiungere la bravura dello chef, ristorante non estremamente pieno ma davvero in gamba nel rispettare tutte le nostre esigenze nonostante si stesse divertendo nel cucinare il che ha reso tutto anche uno show davvero divertente mentre ballava. È un peccato non avere un posto del genere nella mia città. Ma assolutamente prima tappa per un ritorno a Londra. Avrei voluto scattare delle foto ma purtroppo eravamo così emozionati dal tutto che sembrava un peccato far attendere lo stomaco. Seguirò la pagina su IG nella speranza che un posto come questo aprirà nella mia città.
